My Result
1,085 lb total (S: 365 / B: 295 / D: 425) at 165 lb BW
The Story
The 1,000 lb Club is probably the most well-known strength milestone there is: squat, bench, and deadlift totaling at least 1,000 lb. Simple enough.
My total came in at 1,085 lb — squat 365, bench 295, deadlift 425 — at a body weight of about 165 lb.
None of these were grinders. The squat and deadlift were well within my working range on 5/3/1, and the bench at 295 left a bit in the tank. I didn't peak for this or run a specific meet prep cycle — these were just numbers I knew I could hit based on where my training was at the time.
That's really the theme across all of these challenges. Consistent programming, honest effort, and enough patience to let the numbers climb on their own schedule.
